It is the worst service in chennai. I was using the connection for last two years and while they have given the connection, it was nice for first three months.
Then the actual problem starts. The connection speed used to be low, even a normal page wont load for more than 10 minutes. And the connection itself used to disconnect and the service engineer will come after two days and try to rectify it. They used to say, don’t be with Tikona as the number of users are getting increased, Tikona management is not increasing the providing towers(Like HUBs) to manage the new connections. Due to which they are not able to provide sufficient speed and facing disconnections.
The connection was not working for me for nearly 20 days in a month and they said they will discount the amount in bill but they didn’t. While I check, they said it will get adjusted in the next month. Even in next month there was no connection and again they made the bill for the whole month. Then I asked them to disconnect the connection. They were not at all hear us while we are asking them to disconnect the connection. They used to make bill even after we ask them to disconnect. They threatened me that they will file a case in their head office city asked me to pay the bill even for the months which I have no connection. To avoid these unnecessary things, I paid the amount. While they give the connection, they used to visit your home and check whether it is working or not and all. During that time, it will work and you can realize all these only after your first two or three months. As per my experience, it is very pathetic to have the TIKONA and never go for it. If you still interested, go and struggle.
