Big mistake opted for Tikona even after read revie

I made a very very big mistake to opted for Tikona Broadband service even after reading many negetive review comments about Tikona. Initially I thought it’s all false messages and went for Tikona.


I had been cheated on every steps and now I raised request for cancellation, even at the time of cancellation still they are cheating. I got frustration, time waste, money waste totally flop. By mistake also don’t go with Tikona.


History: I shifted my house and searching for internet connection in Bangalore, I saw the add and just called the Tikona marketing guy. This is the unforgettable mistake I made in my life. He came and started promised and didn’t given time to think about it. He forced to pay the money to get the connection. At that time since I didn’t read any reviews so I thought at least what ever the sales person promised I will get the service. But this became nightmare.


I discussed about my requirement "I have my own WIFI modem which I have been using for few years with different service providers, so I will use that modem and I want to use WIFI, and the connection should be given within 2 working days.". The Sales person had promised for these things so I paid him 1300 rupees.


Till four days I didn’t received any update so I started calling Sales person, when ever I called him he used to promise with in 4 hours u will get the connection. But I called him 8 to 10 times and I got the connection after 8 days with regular follow ups. The technician came when I was not there and connected with wired modem and said later u can connect to your WIFI modem. With wired connection it worked.


I connected WIFI modem, then the internet will work for few min and will log off automatically. Again I have to login back to connect to Internet. I tried this morning time, afternoon time and evening time. But same issue occurred. Then I started calling Customer care, he noted the issue and suggested that their server is showing my connection as wired LAN connection so I have to raise a request to enable WIFI by calling to billing section. So I called billing section and raised a request to enable WIFI, they gave reference number also and said within 24 hours I will get a call. This time also I became fool, I waited for 3 to 4 days and again called Customer care.


Then the person said I didn’t raised any request for WIFI and he said its problem with my WIFI modem. I took my modem to my friend house and tested with other service provider. It worked properly I became angry, and again I called customer care, they will receive the call and in between they will disconnect the call, so I have to call them back but then the person will be different. So I used to call many times to talk the same, but didn’t helped me. In final call with the customer care reps they said third party WIFI modem Tikona won’t support, this they would have been told me earlier by(Sales guy in first step or by Technision at installation time or by the customer care rep when I first called or by the billing section where I raised a request for enabling WIFI)


Finally I made a decision to disconnect the service and called three days before for the same, but still the connection is active, even I send the mail but no replies for the same. Daily calling them and sending reminder to know the status but no response.


The cheating started from the time I called Sales rep and still it is continued even at the time of cancellation.
