Downloads, if it touches 700 kbps, then treat yourself to something.
Streaming, well, forget it if you don’t want to punch a hole in your system.
Tariffs, for all the cons, you are better of paying for airtel 4G pack.
Customer service, if you’re one to wait for hours, Tikona is for you.
Well, when I first shifted to Bangalore, internet without the aforementioned cons, was new to me. Hailing from Assam, all this was a part of my Internet life and so I thought it was the same everywhere else too, when I chose Tikona. I’ve never been so wrong in my life.
6 months! Yes, 6 months I’d used this cursed service and I felt I was still in the medieval age. The constants chats with their tech support did keep me from feeling lonely, but it did come at a price. To get through to a tech, you will be first given a time. If it say 4 mins, then I assure you, you can just go have a nice bath to calm yourself down. Because that’s what I used to do. Oh and you know why do I call tech support so often? Well, not because I’m in love with someone’s voice there, but because 3 out of the 7 days in a week, you’ll be stuck at the login page.
I can actually blabber on about the cons. Maybe even write a movie script on it. But then, if you’re using Tikona, how will you ever download it? There are tons of Service providers out there. If you’re actually not a baboon, then you’ll know how to search for it. At least, here in Bangalore you will find many. But if you like the feel of the 90s in your speed, then Tikona will not disappoint you.
