I had heard horror stories about Tikona on the net, however, when I switched to Tata Sky my cable operator took away my Hathway connection as well, I have tried MTNL Triband in the past but their speeds fluctuate and their aunty type customer service sucks, I have tried wireless providers like Reliance 3g dongle etc but their speeds fluctuate from 0.15 mbps to 5.00 mbps (usually at the lower end) which is very irrigating. I registered on their site and the executive came for a demo in 2 days, even thou I was not convinced by his ’bhorasa rakho’ talks, he finally gave me a demo which showed constituent speed.
I paid him by cheque and the installation happened the next day. Unfortunately they had issues with their ’Password change’ page because of which I could not reset my password and log in for almost 2 days, but its now been a week I have been using their service and am more then satisfied, the most surprising part was when I called to get the password and was told that the page was not yet fixed, I disconnected abruptly, immediately I got an sms stating that the conversation could be completed and ’WE WILL CALL YOU’, to my surprise someone did actually call me the same day to try and resolve my issue.
I hope my service remains in good shape and I think, Tikona is a company changing for the better.
