We have been there twice and its really not worth the wait. The food is not exceptionally great. The parking space is ample on the road and the ambience is also ok. The main problem with the place is that the supervisors and the waiters are not well mannered and organised. You could land up in a corner table as its just the two of you and look like one nice cosy couple. There is candle lit on your table and you thought it was to make your evening romantic, hey but that’s because the light above your table is not working.
The table next to you is empty and some already experienced waiting guests have refused to take it and you wonder why.. Presto a huge load of leftover food is placed there. The cleaners are collecting the food probably to take it away later on. The plates are stacked next to you and you can very well see what the people before you have eaten.
Then the big wait till your table is laid and then you get what you ordered. A Gujarati couple next to us asked specifically for Chinese rice dish with no egg in it although they eat non-veg stuff but just hate the smell of egg. After a long wait and some argument with the waiter they get their rice but with egg in it. The waiter did not even bother to offer to take it back and get it replaced.
On one sunday afternoon the supervisor was bent upon making us go for the Buffet Brunch, though we were not interested. he then started telling that only these few items can be ordered by Ala Carte unless we try the Brunch. We were with our guests from out of town and we just had to walk out. We had a good lunch at the Mall next door in the food court.
A previous experience when we went there with some friends and occupied the main eating area with round tables was good as atleast the service was quick and when we ordered champagne it became even better. Seems like the tall the bill you make the better the service gets..
