I approached this company after some positive reviews in justdial. I was looking for a local transportation within Bangalore. The initial talk by their representative in Bangalore was impressive. The gyaan they provided was that even though their service is costlier compared to others, their quality of service more than makes up for it.
On the day of moving, they sent a staff of 4 who clearly looked like day laborers with no knowledge of packing and transportation. Their team leader a person called Rajshekar led the packing efforts. After a while, I had to intervene myself and ended up doing the packing for all costly stuff, for eg my LCD TV. They had managed to tighten the TV fittings instead of unscrewing. My king size bed was broken into two pieces, and the comment by this Rajshekar was ’Tutne wala cheez toh tutega hi’. Their use of packing materials suggested that even crude oil is available in plenty compared to their materials, crudely dumping all my stuff into their truck without any cover or packing material.
Unpacking story is even more sorry. We finally asked them to leave and unpacked ourselves. After settling down, we realized few of our stuff like toaster, etc were lost / stolen and a lot of the wooden furniture was damaged. After all this, this team of insipid incompetent bunch of jokers had the nerve to ask for ’Bakshish’ !!!
I had transported the entire household material from Delhi to Bangalore using Transworld with nil damage. But the damage incurred in shifting the same material for just another 6Kms defies all logic. I regret my decision, not to have chosen Transworld, their service was worth the few extra bucks.
Stay away from this company of cheats!!
