We ordered a laptop (ASUS F202) from Timtara.com on 12/12/2012 while they were hosting GOSF(Great Online Shopping Festival). I paid Rs 35299 from my credit card on 12/12/2012 and the website explictally displays delivery within 21 days promise. On 13/12/2012 I got the following mail with the subject " Your Product is ready for Shipment".
"Your payment has been realized in our account & your order #10368270 is in process of shipment. We will update your AWB No. & Courier Details at the earliest." After 7 days, on 19/12/12 I got mail from Payal Srivastav(payal@timtara.com) that the laptop we selected is out of stock and we should change our order to Sony VAIO SVE1511AEN Laptop.
We replied the mail saying it should have been displayed on website or atleast informed earlier. On the same day we raised a ticket on their Website(Ticket #52882) asking clarification. To this Miss Nisha (Nisha@timtara.com)replied the following "Kindly be assured that your concern is our priority. This is to inform you that your order was placed on 12 dec.it is in process and will ship to you at your shipping details with in 3 weeks . so we are requesting you to please wait till then.Your co-operation and patience in this regard will be highly appreciated." These are two people from the same organisation saying two different things leaving the customer mad with confusion.
After this we called the customer care where the executive said that we have the said laptop is very much in stock and he doesn’t know why we are being told that it is out of stock. He also confirmed that the product will be delivered on 28/12/12 so that it reaches on 02/01/2013 (exactly 21 days after purchase date). The Status of my Order on their website is continously "Waiting for Shipment" We kept on sending numerous emails(which can be reproduced if required) wondering for the staus of our order for which we already paid a whopping amount of Rs 35299 without having the product or its where abouts yet but they didnt bother providing any updates. The status of my Order on their website till today (03/01/2013) is "Awaited Shipment". I have sent numerous mails which are not answered. I have made various calls where everyone is clue less.
The FRAUD company is earning interest on MY money since 12/12/12 without sending me the product, answering my mails or returning calls.
Such sites should be banned from the arena of E commerce. 5069 characters left
