See there are three types of smartphones or say brands in the market out there . All are great according to everyones respective need. Its on you to be deciding upon whom to opt for. The three types of brands out there are :
1 ) expensive brands with very high on feature smartphones. ( You should be opting this if you are high on budget or you do not expect to buy another one for a long time coming. This will provide you with the current features and quality usage for a long time )
2 ) Low brands with better hardware and software in smartphones with much lesser price. ( This will provide you with quality usage and featuristic experience of the smartphone for a little while as these brands do not roll out updates or ota and will gradually slow down your smartphone . Go for these types of smartphones when you are low on budget or you are expecting to buy a new one in the near future.
3 ) bigger brands with low feature smartphones . This is only for people of very moderate and light usage. This will surely work in the long term usage as it will always get OTAs and will never slow down your smartphone. This option is better for low budget people and the 2nd option as it provides regular security updates.
Features to look upon before buying a smartphone:
Processor: it should be octacore if it is clocked anywhere between 1.2ghz to 1.5ghz Or should be quadcore if it is clocked from 1.7 ghz or above.
GPU: it should have a nice gpu to run graphic intensive applications.
Battery: it should be more than 3000mAh according to todays world. It would be better if it is fast charging supported.
Camera : it should have a good aperture and should have PDAF and OIS if you can find it.
Network: it Should definitely have 4g support and VoLTE of course.
