The mobile should have 4G VoLTE support, both side cameras that are good and capable of recording HD videos and high capacity battery because without these no mobile can stand out in a generation like this. Fingerprint sensor is also a needed feature.
Now the main thing that you should must see before buying any kind of mobile. This is about the processor. Someone must see the processor of the phone before buying it. You should know that if you are buying a mobile that has a range more than 11, 000 rupees then you should go for Snapdragon processor but if you intend to buy less than 11, 000 rupees then you should go for MediaTek processor.
Non gaming phones should have 3 GB RAM and people who intend to buy gaming phones should must buy 4 GB RAM or more. Note that 3GB Ram also lags while playing high graphics games.
Caution- Don’t buy mobiles that has good features but the range is too low because that mobiles gets spoiled after 1 month of use. Always go for mobiles that has goods customer support and I recommend for Samsung or Lenovo( moto) mobiles.
