Hi guys, I wanted to give you tips to buy a second hand cellphone. Buying a second hand Phone is not worth, but if you it falls under your budget please take a specialist along with you before buying a phone.
- Check the display is working, most of the times the touch is insensitive and the seller might say, itll start working in 2-3 days, dont trust him.
2. check the memory card and sim slots, whether they are working or not.
3. Check whether the calling and messaging facility is working along with the other apps which you download from app store(IOS) or play store(Android).
4. Check the ear phones he provides you with the cell phone.
5. Go through the bill statement or the cash memo of the phone, If in any case he doesnt provide you with one, dont buy it. The phone couldve been stolen.
6. Ask him to give all the accessories of the phone including the charger and the warranty card if any.
7. Ask him to get the IMEI no of the cell phone, if that no has been blacklisted you will be arrested for having a stolen phone under you pocket.
The network services are same as the new phone. it totally depends upon the sim.
Customer service would be available IF IT IS IN WARRANTY.
Charger and billing would be available from the seller if you first ask him.
However buying a second hand phone is risky, I do not recommend it.
