No use giving Advance notice

I would like to share my unfortunate experience with Cel Cabs.


My brother from US had come to Blore with his family and we decided to visit our parents in Hyderabad. I had booked TWO Cel Cabs on 12th June 2010, for a pick up on 14th June 2010. TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE. After booking I received only 1 message, but the operator confirmed that there are 2 bookings against my name and gave me the number of both bookings.


Now, on 14th June 2010, I confirmed at 10 am and 4.30 pm about the booking for 6 pm pick up to Yeshwanthpur Railway stn. Even till 4.30 pm, though the phone operator confirmed that the cabs will come on time. till 5.45 pm no message or cab had arrived. When I called them back, at 6 pm to remind them, they still had not allotted the cabs. At 6. 15 pm, when finally a message came, the driver called and said that he would take 45 mins to come. This was HORRIBLE! The customer service team goofed and did not inform the cab driver on time.


The customer service team, a soft spoken women, tried to convince me that someone would be there, only 1 cab turned up at 6.45 pm for my 7. 45 pm train from Yeshwanthpur. Ironically, this was the driver whose message and number I had not received.


There was no news about the second cab, which never turned, up. We decided 2 second the 10 nos. of luggages with the 1st cab alongwith children and myself, so that we can arrange theluggage in the train.


Our ladies, finally had to take an auto. since the 2nd cabNEVER arrived or called. Obviously, the 2nd cab driver was informed by the 1st cab driver, that we had taken the auto, and thus no use of him spending Cel cabs petrol and money.


No news from Cel Cabs team to even apologise for the incident. or follow up. This clearly shows their lack of customer service and this what happens to companies who grow big and forget basic of customer serivce.


I have surely shifted loyalty to Easy Cabs and Meru Cabs. Even if 2 days advance notice/booking is not enough for Cel Cabs, then they must relook at their customer service and operations.


I am really disappointed and angry by this, since my family went through some discomfort and tension, so as not to miss the train.


Cel Cabs is a Govt. type organization. The owners must behead themselves with shame.


PLEASE DO NOT USE CEL CABS EVER!
