In todays day to day life, as we all know, how much pollution has been increased. So, one of the most affected problem due to pollution is some eye problems. to prevent these types of eye problems, we must follow some ways so that we can protect our eyes fro the foreign particles. These are -
1) Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in a day. For a Healthy person, one must drink water around 2 to 4 liters.
2) Eat Well: Good eye health can be maintained by eating food that contains plenty of nutrients like- Omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. To get these nutrients you should include these things in your meal: Spinach, eggs, tuna fish, salmon fish, nuts, beans, fruit juices, etc.
3) Quit Smoking: One of the major cause of eye problems is smoking. If you quit smoke, then it will be good for eyes as well as your Lungs. It contains nicotine, which is the hazardous item for causing health problems. It acts like a slow poison.
4) Wear Sunglasses outside under Sunlight: Wearing good quality sunlight can protect your eyes upto a great extent. It will protect your eyes from foreign particles like dust. For best results use UV protected sunglasses, which will also prevents the harmful ultra violet rays of Sun.
5) Adequate Sleep: It is very important to give rest to our eyes to get rid of itching, redness, puffy eyes, tiredness you must sleep for 8 hours a day.
6) Wash your eyes regularly: Always wash your eyes with fresh and clean water time to time in a day, specially when you come back from travelling.
7) Regular Eye-checkup: Go to your nearest eye specialist or any eye clinic to get a regular eye test, whether your eyes are perfectly fine or not because we cannot determine small changes by our own. You should go for checkup once in 6 months or 1 year.
8) Watch Televisions or other electronic display items from adequate distance as per the type of product you are using.
