Friends I am writing this review to make every one in Mumbai aware of the steep tariffs and cheating by Reliance Infra who is hell bent to making life a HELL for Mumbai Suburban Consumers.
Recently in September 2010, Reliance increased the tariffs and has doubled its charges for the units consumed. This has made the electricity bill very steep and its becoming very difficult to pay the steep bills.
Since last year MERC has given the option to switch over to Tata Power which has very low rates. Original TPC consumers pay half of Reliance consumers and the switch over consumers Pay more than Rs.300 less than the current Reliance consumers.
I have also come to know that Reliance is going to file a petition for another hike next year which will make matters WORSE.
I request you all to please think about switching over to TPC. It saves lot of money for people consuming more than 200 units per month. Also, it is not necessary that the entire society has to change, a single consumer can also switch over.
Please spread the awareness among your friends, colleagues, relatives and neighbors. Unless we consumers take an initiative, RELIANCE will go on cheating the common public.
