Spend time with them

Take some time to do something fun with your children.

Be with them at all ups and downs.

Instead of saying them what they can do tell them what they can do.

Praise them when they do something good.

Appreciate for the effort even if they fail at something.

Remember that your behavior serves as a model for your children’s behavior.

Be friendly with them.

Give punishment only when its necessary.

Don’t compare them with other children,

My parents used to do so and that really makes me sick and I really hate this, it only makes things worse, so don’t do it with your children. Every child is unique. Don’t compare them with others.
