Heuer is one of the greatest watchmakers in the world history. His watch Tag Heuer is having same king of personalities as their brand ambassadors. Tiger Woods, Jeff Gordon, Maria Sharapova, Juan Pablo Montoya, Yao Ming, Steve McQueen, Kimi Raikkonen, Sébastien Bourdais. All have made a mark in history.
They have chosen Shahrukh Khan in India as their Brand Ambassador. Tag Heuer is having number of patents in Watch making. Since years they are producing watches that constantly push back the frontiers of precision, reliability and aesthetics.
The same is with Shahrukh Khan, he is having some unwritten patents of Bollywood in his name. Since years he is setting standards for others. Moreover, Tag Heuer is a part of LVMH Watches which claims to be the world’s leading luxury group. And Shahrukh Khan (with having perfume of his own name) is a symbol of Luxury in India.
CHRISTIAN Dior appoints Yana Gupta brand ambassador
The objective of Dior Watches is to be Number One in the market of luxury fashion watches, with their work focused on exclusivity and quality.
Dior watches are the great combination of beautiful watch making and fashionable allure. Christian Dior thinks that their name spells seduction, creativity and femininity.
More than a watch Christian Dior is fashion accessories. It is symbol of beauty, seduction and femininity they have chosen non other than Yana Gupta as their Brand Ambassador. Yana Gupta is none other than famous Lakme Girl. Lakme being a complete feminine product since years, she can be taken as symbol of femininity. Christian Dior is targeting female clientele. Company thinks that female clientele are looking for young, fashionable and original timekeeping products.
Yana Gupta said, “I have admired Christian Dior for its elegance and sophistication since my early modeling days. To be chosen to represent the brand is like a dream come true.” Christian Dior watches are a part of LVMH Watches & Jewellery (same as Tag Heuer).
Omega - Sonali Bendre
Omega is the 1st watch which reached the Moon. What else can I say about it? Omega, the watch JFK was wearing when he swore as president of USA. Omega is having some gorgeous brand ambassadors like Cindy Crawford, Ellen MacArthur, Nicole Kidman, Michael Schumacher, Alexander Popov, Ernie Els, Ian Thorpe, Dean Barker, Michael Phelps, and Sergio Garcia. Earlier Shahrukh Khan was Omega brand ambassador but now he shifted loyalties to Tag Heuer.
Now Omega is thinking that - the importance of ambassadors is not the same today as it was five years ago. But they are still looking at one or two new faces worldwide and in India.’’ In India, it is either cricket or Bollywood star can be their brand ambassador and Sonali Bendre continues to be a spokesperson. No wonder if Omega chooses any cricket as its new brand ambassador to line up with many of sports person as their brand ambassador world wide.
Citizen Watches selected Kareena
Citizen is a Japanese watch brand. Citizen is one of the few watches which are having Eco-Drive Watches. Citizen is also following fashion trends and spell attitude and a style statement. They have chosen Kareena Kapoor, a youth icon as an ambassador.
Citizen thinks that there is a great synergy between Kareena Kapoor and Citizen Eco-Drive Watches as both are style icons in their own field. Citizen is the next generation watch because of advanced technology and Kareena Kapoor is the next generation star. Kareena thinks that she is associated herself with the brand because of its quality, individuality and GenX features.
Lisa Ray endorses Rado
Rado is having a success story in innovation in materials and design, uniqueness and out-of-the ordinary look. Lisa thinks that some of Rado’s qualities best describe her and her career.
Rado is producing Scratch proof watches when Rado goes for materials of the future such as high-tech diamond, high-tech lanthanum, sapphire crystal, hard metal or high-tech ceramics. People think about some individualistic design they think about Rado. Lisa Ray is also having same kind of career, she has a long career and yet not there in the mainstream. Titan watches selected Aamir Khan as its branch ambassador. Tata is the name behind Titan so it carries great value and reputation with them. They can’t choose the brand ambassador like anything. They will put a great deal of thought and there will be a great decision making in it.
Titan watches are not taking watches as a mere fashion accessory like other multinational brand do. Titan watches is taking it as an accessory for self expression, and who better can pass this message to public than Aamir Khan. Perhaps he is perfect person for self expression. Titan also thinks that there is a perfect fit between Aamir Khan and Titan because of their stature, timelessness. The both share the love and trust with the people nationally and internationally. This makes an ideal partnership.
Aamir thinks that Titan watches have stood the test of time for their perfection, exclusivity, innovativeness and quality. And infact the first watch Aamir bought with his own earnings was a Titan in 1988. Same kind of reason Aamir has given while he had endorsed Coca Cola, he told that he believe in product and that’s why he endorsed it.
Thus it is very nice to see a mutual respect between brand and brand ambassador. We can say that the association with Aamir Khan and Titan is mainly due to the brand values that both Titan and the actor are associated with. Both known for commitment and obsession towards perfection, quality, innovativeness, setting new trends and our market leadership.
And that’s why I am thinking Titan Watches and Aamir is the best brand with brand ambassador association.
There are few other watches which are waiting for their brand ambassador. And those are Rolex, Gucci Watches, Tissot Watches, Cartier watches.
