Today, looks are quite important, colour, dial, fonts and to top it all the strap also plays a vital role in the overall looks of the watch.I would recommend quartz watches to that of hand wound one.
As far as which watch is better Titan or HMT I would suggest both are good but aesthetic wise I found Titan ranges to be more elegant and sophisticated however there are few designs in HMT which are quite sophisticated and elegant
I found HMT to be a bit cheaper than Titan (in terms of functional aspect) as far as after sales service is concerned both are on par there is no difference.
In the end I would like to bring to everybody’s notice both dont manufacture the crucial part of a watch that is the movement in case of quartz watches, its cheaper for the company to out source it from abroad because it is available dirt cheap from countries like China, Taiwan and to some extent swiss movements are also available.So all that both the companies do is manufacture the outer case and the dial.They assemble everything at their factory in India.
I suggest one can have Titan watches because of their overall looks and sophistication.Titan keeps coming out with new designs on an ongoing basis which gives you more options to choose from.
