Toilete- ek prem katha is a movie which is inspired by Modi Ji’s CLEAN INDIA mission. After disastrous movies of superstars like Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, people were waiting for a sensible movie, TEPK stands on the expectations of everybody.
Talking about the story, story is based on Mathura where people are in opposition of making toilets in the houses. They see it as the destruction of their ethinicity. Here Keshav ( Akshay Kumar ) falls in love with Bhoomi Pednekar. There are many things shown here about the superstitious nature of people which is still running in the country. The most favourite part was that TWO THUMBS theory. That scene was just two hilarious. After marriage with Akshay Kumar, Bhoomi finds that there is no toilet in the house. Akshay makes many efforts so that her wife had not to go toilet in open which includes taking her to toilets in train also. After a incident Bhoomi looses her cool and said she will not come back until there is no toilet in the house. This made Akshay to many things to bring the toilet in home. This process he finds about the scams on fund which was issued for public toilets. There are many nice scenes which are worth seeing.
Talking about the performances, Akshay and Bhoomi are completely in their roles. Akshay is getting better and more better day by day. He had become a face of responsible cinema in India. Two more actors of movie who are must to be mentioned are Divyendu and Anupam Kher ji. Every single time they shown up on screen everybody couldn’t help but laughing. The starting scene in which Anupam Kher was sitting and watching the dance of Sunney Leone was far to hilarious.
In short, it is a eye opening film on the current situations of villages of india . It has shown a very serious situation in a very hilarious way. It is a must watch movie for everyone
