A good actor’s performance is rated by his choice of roles, films, his body language and his ease to carry the character throughout the film. Hollywood is a world, where 9 out of 10 actors, try to put their best in the films and competition is gruesome. Ofcourse, Tom Hanks is best at character selection, its potrayal and balancing throughout the film. And aboveall, the gift that keeps him ahead of the talented league is his strong yet deep voice. To my knowledge, he is one of the rarest actors, who can bring the mood of the situation with his voice.His eye’s expressions added to that.

He almost have won his third oscar for his yet-another brilliant performance in ’Cast away’(2001). He acted as a AIDS patient, fighting for law in ’Philadelphia’ and as a handicap child, who overcome it and won in the race of life in the film ’Forest Gump’.
Today he is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood next to Tom Cruise.Though his recent films haven’t created much buzz at box-office, his much-awaited movie- adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel ’The Da Vinci code’ has hit the screens world wide and is one of the top grossers of the year 2006.
Tom Hanks, undoubtingly a versatile acting genius, a winner of various awards( he has won numerous Golden Globe awards) is deserved to be in the Hollywood Hall of Fame in the next generations. Till then, his fans will be anxiously waiting for his next power packed performances, including me.
