Lets go traveling

Oh, how I do love to travel.  While traveling around is not for everyone, I am one that could travel three weeks out of every month, and be delighted.  So when I ran across this section, I had to write my review of places that I would love to visit for the first time or revisit. I am not listing them in any certain order.

1. Jekyll Island

Jekyll Island Georgia is a beautiful island full of rich heritage.  I have not visited this place since the last hurricane so I am not certain that all the wonderful old homes are still there, but I can remember visiting this island as a child and touring all the wonderful mansions and listening to the rich history that this island has seen.  It is both a beautiful and relaxing place to visit.

2. India

I have a very good friend that was born in India and lived there until she married and finished the university, then her family moved to the United States.  She has shown me some wonderful pictures of the area in which she came from and told me many wonderful stories about her homeland.  I would love to visit India and take in all the sites and sounds that I could possibly fit into a visit.

3. Athens, Greece

Athens, Greece is full of wonderful remains of centuries past.  I have met many Greek people who I find are pretty much always kind, warm and very helpful.

I would love to tour the old remains of the temples along with walk the twisted streets and visit the many shops and restaurants that dot the city.

4. Charleston South Carolina

Charleston South Carolina has a very colorful and wonderful history, with daytime tours available as well as what they call the Ghost Walks that take you through the cemeteries at night and share a bit of folklore with you.

From the sunny beaches, wonderful shops and restaurants and rich history, this place is one of my absolute favorite places to be.

For me it is also a great place to work as one of my favorite recording studios is located here.

5. Tybee Island, Georgia

This is another wonderful Island off the coast of Georgia.  Unlike Jekyll, this island does not seem to offer many old homes, well, actually I have not seen any real old mansions on this small island, but what it does off is a old fort and plenty of beautiful clean and peaceful beaches.

There you have, five of the places I would love to see.
