Those of you who are planning to take a trip this is one of the greatest places Ive been too. Ive travelled to many states before and even to Hong Kong, and the Caribbean. Toronto which is the capital of Ontario was one of the best site seeing places Ive ever been too.
Theres so many places to see that a week is not even long enough to see everything. If your interested in sports there is the skydome where the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team plays and it can hold up to 50, 000. Its one of the only domes that can open and close during a game so there will never be a cancellation.
Right next to the skydome is the CN tower which was one of the worlds tallest free standing structure. At night you can go down to harbour front and take a boat ride along lake Ontario as you watch the city luminate in the darkness, itll take your breathe away.
Since Toronto is up north if you visit in the winter you will most likely encounter cold weather and possibly snow. When the city is covered in snow its like a winter wonderland and is just stunning.
For dinner I went to a luxurious restaurant called Wayne Gretzky the food there was phenomenal, especially for its price. Next tourist attraction is the science centre which is filled with all types of interesting things, such as dinosaur fossils, all the way to things that deal with outer space.
Then there is Eaton Centre which is one of the biggest malls in Ontario where youll find hundreds of shoppers, however theyre planning to build a mega mall which will take a person a couple days just to walk through all of it!
For Entertainment you will find yourself going to Canadas Wonderland which is opened during the summer and is one of the best amusement parks that Ive been to maybe even comparable to Walt Disney.
They also a movie cinema that is the shape of a U.F.O. with an Imax inside. This are just a few things to look forward to when youre visiting Toronto. So if your thinking about where to take your Christmas vacation and dont mind the snow this is a great place to celebrate the white Christmas!
