This is one book that I could simply not put down! It’s really well written.
I quite admire Sidney in the story. I think its one of the best novels that David Baldacci has written. His other novels are not as brilliant or interesting as this one. Although the ending is very sad, and you start feeling so sorry for Sidney. If Jason hadn’t gone to the FBI, he would be alive.
They seem to be such a perfect couple, so much in love with each other and they both have good jobs, she’s a brilliant lawyer and they have an adorable litle girl....their life seems much too perfect, like something has to go wrong soon. in my opinion, Jason could have a chance of survivng if he had been honest with his wife and told her what was really going on.
I loved the way he twists the story arounds with the chairman of the fedral reserve.
I was nearly in tears! Sidney lost so much in the end and all for nothing! just so that some company could cover up! I feel very sorry for her.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good read.
