This is one hell of a mivie with great effects. Though the going is here n there its nonetheless a great movie. The story is way too complex . You gotta be a wizard or should have a degree in Oxford to understand this at one go.
The futuristic interpretition is real enough for you to believe. Theorywise its sound but .... it does have a glitch or two. When he gets the package by his friend ( suitcase ), he tells ’’You are not you, you are me’’ WHats that supposed to mean. When he is taken to the Mr.Evil himself, he tells he worked for him but then he is to have worked for the people. Now all this scrambles your head - was the real arnie bad? If so why was he blanked n put in another name n profrssion? But forgettting all this, this is one great action movie.
The story begins thus - Arnie works as a driller. His implanted wife- Sharon stone. Alls well until he realises he’s made for somthin else. He offers to take a vacation ( only of the mind ) at Rekal - the dream offers. He incidentally selects the Macho type - fighting as a spy etc. Suddenly everything goes haywire. His hidden mind realises he’s a real spy on Mars. A friend gives him a package n he gets to Mars plus a fat head. Nice gimmick there. Then follows his quest for true identity. HE finds out though only to astonish us poor blank head viewers. He then liberated Mars of its inhabitability through following a dream finding a Alien arrangement to produce enough oxygen to cover the whole planet. Though Sharon Stone is wasted as a bimbo, the movie excels.
THe action is fast paced. I like it. After all its a Arnie Movie. And undoubtedly, Arnie is the King of Action.
