Well, I should have listened to people who told me not to go to this place. My ordeal started when I took my iPhone 4S to Totoodo, Jayanagar. My phone fell into water and wasn’t switching on. They kept the phone with them to figure out whats wrong. After 2 days, they told me that the problem is with the battery and power supply. They changed both and charged me 3000 Rs.
Now, I went to the shop hoping to collect my phone. But It wasn’t even switching on. They made me come all the way to their shop only to see my dead phone again. This, after they had called and assured the issue is fixed. I had no other go but to leave the phone again with them. It now took another couple of weeks for the’diagnosis’.
This time around, the guy at Totoodo’expertly’ diagonized it as a charger port issue and changed the charging port(Charging connector)= Rs. 2000 blown. I promptly got a call to come and get my phone. Again I went to their shop. The phone neither switched on nor charged!
Above all, The staff at totoodo were at best indifferent and even rude. There wasn’t iota of courtesy for a customer who spent 5000 rupees for nothing. They didn’t even offer to fix the issue. They simply wanted me to pay the money and take my dead phone back without making a sound.
In all, it was an absolutely frustrating experience with Totoodo. I would rather run my car over my phone than take it to them again.
P.S. You can see the dates on the bill which verifies my claim that they kept the phone with them for almost a month( though I am not sure - I dont know if they even whacked my iPhone components).
