I had booked "Himalayan Extravagenza" Tour in Prasanna Holidays / Tours, Pune. We were four. Me, my wife and one son and one daughter. We booked this tour by paying all money(@ one Lakh) in advance, almost one month before the plan, i.e. June 2008.
It was horrible experience and we were repenting throughout this tour of @ 15 days. The travel arrangements were in a small Tempo Traveller and were not cmfirtable. The lodging and food arrangements were substandard. There was only one family accopanying us and hence there was no group enjoyment as such. The guide / tour manager was so ordinary and un managed, that the whole tour was a pain to both the families.
Especially there was no personal touch and majority of places, we were left on our own for touring. There were many instances of poor food quality, unattended illness, no help for getting medical treatment, etc.
The Prasanna Management was not willing to listen to any one of us. Both the families in this tour were trying to contact Prasanna Tours but there was no responce.
All in all, we were taken for a ride by this Tour Operator and as one pays in advance, there was nothing in our hands.
But by writting this review I hope to make general tourists / travellers aware about the worst experience we had with Prasanna Tours. We thought we took a wrong decision by choosing Prasanna Holidays.
