If anyone is interested he can read my last review.....on the Tata Indica ...my previous car. picked up a brand new Altis (1.8 G)three days back. Being crazy about driving I have already done 750 Km in the car. being a defence guy I bought "her" from Chennai and drove it down to Hyd myself. so here are the Pros and the
Cons.Pros-
1. the car does have impressive looks.
2. the interiors are stylish and very Ergonimically done. lots of small pockets and stow-aways.
3. the ABS (EBD) makes u feel extremely safe.
4. (Was and still am a die hard fan of the Civic) immediately after I bought the Altis I drove to a Honda showroom in Chennai, guys the interiors of the Civic are a bit cumbersome...everyone may not like the sharp contours and the bulges. Me for one loved the smooth flow of the central console of the Altis.
5. great feature no hump on the floor in the rear.
6. the driver seat is very comfortable.7. capable of very high speeds (165km/hr and lots of accelerator still left to push), capable of very high acceleration at a short notice.8. electronic power steering almost makes u feel like a pilot.(my fav the Civic loses out on this one)9. headlights are amazingly bright and can be used to irritate the truck-drivers in combo with the fog lamps..ha! ha!
Cons.
1. Mileage-still getting a super max of 11.9 on the highway...autoclimate on throughout.buts I guess its too early to state...will update the review in the next one month(taking the Altis to B’lore and back next weekend)
2.Hey Altis users have u felt a bit insecure at very high speeds(160 plus) due to the over sensitive steering. lemme know if its natural.
