My Toyota Previa is now 14 years old and has done 270 000 km. It was always reliable, even at temperatures of - 20 °C. One day, at a filling station, there was a loud explosion noise. Since I couldn’t find anything, I simply went on for 300 more km. It was only after 4 days that we discovered a huge cavity in the battery. All the while, the car had been going as usual.
The Previa is very comfortable, it seats seven persons, the back seats can be tucked away. Maximum speed is 180 km/h which is a little slow sometimes. (There is no speed limit on many German highways.) At that speed, however, the Previa is rather sensitive to winds.
There were never any repairs necessary, only now the exhaust should be changed.
I don’t know if this car is ever going to break. I will be quite sad when I have to get a new one.
