I want to share my experience that I had with Trans India Holiday. I have booked a package tour from 1st October to 6th October 2011 from Trans India Holiday. When we reached on Airport, no one was there to receive us. As all prepaid phones are useless in Srinagar. somehow I manage to call Shaheen shah the manager of the company. Then he asked us to go to taxi stand and arrange a taxi for us. In this we have wasted our 2-3 hours.
Then we went to his office and he give us two option to stay in Gulmarg (Apple tree resort or Green height). We stayed in apple tree resort. The hotel was good. Next day around 3PM we reached again to his office to confirm our hotel in pahalgam. As we were late they change the plan from Pahalgam to Houseboat in Srinagar. House boat was Ok we can not say it was good.
Then next day we have to go to pahalgam. We have decided to checkout from houseboat at around 10. But till 11:30 no taxi has been arranged for us. At 11:30 a taxi come and then we have started for pahalgam. When I booked the package Shaheen shah told me that he will arrange Hotel Highland for us. But when we reached in Pahalgam they have booked Hotel Golden Palace. The hotel was really unHygenic and noone can stay in that hotel. Then I contact Rihan shah she told me that you visit pahalgam and in the evening she will arrange other hotel. Then in the evening she told you have to stay in Golden Palace. We were helpless at that point. we have a stay in pahalgam. As the hotel was not good then we have requested to arrnge a hotel in Srinagr and we went for Srinagr and stayed in Royal Residency. The rooms are really hopeless.
In the end I will say, please please do not go with Trans India Holiday. They people are cheaters specially Rihan Shah.
They are different before booking and change after bookind and again changes after full payment.
