For the money I paid, I got a decent 8GB player with warranty and good features for just Rs 3, 500.00 from eBAY
Pros :
Battery back up is good for 12-14hrs on my usage while listening to songs.
Screen is large enough for short duration video watching.
Quality of audio/video files are really good. Some what close to the ipod quality, though not evenly up there...
Cons:
There is no physical volume control on the player. Everytime I need to select the player(video/audio) and only while I am in the player tool I can control the volume.
There is no physical mute button. Same with pausing an audio/video file. You need to select the application which is playing the file and only once I am inside that application, I am allowed to pause it. Headphones/Volume of player is not the best under noisy environment(such as a railway stn or bus stand)
Does not play .flv files
- No direct charger supplied with the player. We can charge it by connecting to a Laptop/desktop with the usb cable which doubles as data transfer cable.
