I bought a Transcend MP850 assuming it to be good since I had used its Tsonic 615 earlier which was excellent. However, MP850 is highly disappointing.
I was looking for something really loud in sound, which I couldn’t find in this product.
There are many annoying things when you get into details like: The interface is badly designed. When I play a song, I want my screen to tell me the name of the song/artist in bold clear font, but MP850 has used up 80% of the screen for an equalizer which of least importance.
Otherwise the interface design/icons look sub standard.
MP850 doesnt play songs if downloaded from youtube and then converted into mp3. which is really annoying since I cant play half of my songs.
Once connected to a PC, the folder doesn’t replace duplicate song files while copy-paste. So you have 2-3 copies of the same song. This is really disappointing and irritating and shows half-hearted effort from the brand’s side in making the product.
I bought MP850 since I couldn’t afford an Ipod Classic, but I regret not waiting, saving money and buying the latter.:(
I’ve just wasted 3.3k.
