I bought this Transcend StoreJet 1 TB External Hard Disk in May 2015 from Amazon.in .
This is a very good choice if you are looking harddisk for rough use. This Harddisk is only shock resistant Harddisk currently available in India. It’s been 8 months and I haven’t faced any issue with my Harddisk. Very good build quality to protect from accidental drops. Also supports USB 3.0.
My Laptop doesn’t support USB 3.0, so file transfer speed is average with USB 2.0 .
