I and my wife booked a trip from travelguru.com and booked a room at V Resorts, Pugs Paw, Almora
The tripadvisor.com price displayed for travelguru.com was Rs 2000 per night, and in makemytrip.com was Rs 2200 so I used travelguru.com . Big mistake
- Clicked for changing CP to MAP, and for adding 2 kids to the room, the price display increased from 2000 to around Rs 2600 per night and then to Rs 3800-3900 per night
- The screen displayed the check in and check out dates. Didnt display the plan
- Booked it, added the discount coupon
- Net price Rs 3300 per night, paid it . Rs 9900 and some change for 3 nights
Now when I get the coupon the inclusions mentioned are only breakfast.
I didn’t check it , and paid for the meals a second time at the resort. This is absurd

So I will not use travelguru again
And if you do use the website, then buy ONLY the lowest priced package, or you also may face a similar situation and pay for the upgrade once to travelguru, and a second time at the hotel. What a horrible experience. Liked the resort, disliked the site
