Travel guru is being run by a bunch of unprofessionals who are very good in telling lies. These guys are totally unprofessional and have no customtakeouter orientation
Two weeks after sending me hotel booking confirmation voucher and 7 days before check-in date, their executive calls me up and says that hotel has cancelled my confirmed booking but the truth is they never got a confirmation from the hotel and sat over it for two whole weeks before informing me.
there lies are short lived as they refuse to give me in writing that it is the hotel that is refusing the promised accomodation.
Following is the complete mail chain

Fact:
No response what so ever from Travel Guru, I have to call them for getting
updates but all the customtakeouter care executives(Swati/Nisha/Prashant) can say
that our manager(some Shailesh) will call you up which he never does.
On 18th Jan afternoon, Swati said my manager will call you up positively by
evening but Mr Shailesh doesnt.
then on 19th noon, another one Nisha said please wait till 8:00PM and the
manager will call you up but again Mr Shailesh doesnt.
at 9:45 PM, I again call up and this time some Prashant says, he requires
some more time and we will update you tomorrow.
I have only one thing to say to all these poor cust care executives who has
to face dissatisfied customtakeouters like us, instead of false promises, why
dont you tell the truth that your managers are either scared to talk to
customtakeouters or simply put not worthy of being managers.
Adding Renzoss inn contact incc so that they the hotel guys also know
the lies which travel gurus executives are spreading.
Instead of taking responsibility for this goof up travel guru executives are
putting the entire blame on poor hotel guys and are saying that hotel has
cancelled my previously booked room.
Reason No. 1 from Travel Guru executives: Hotel guys are going back on
their word and cancelling the earlier booked room due to some construction
activity going on in their hotel.
Reason No. 2: There is some group check-in and hotel has cancelled my
booking
Hotel response -> No construction activity going on or any group check-ins
.Hotel guys are claiming that they never received by booking request from
travel guru.
I am going to put this entire mail chain on each and every travel advisory
site and let people see how travel guru is spoiling people holidays.
You guys are not TravelGurus in making holidays but reallyGurus in
telling lies.

I must say you guys dont even know what professionalism is all about.
I am calling again & again to your customtakeouter care number and asking the
executives to connect me to someone senior who would have some answers but
nobody is willing to talk to me and even after confirming that somebody
would call me back, I am yet to receive a call.
Please send me in writing that after 12 days of confirming my booking and
charging full amount you are asking me now to choose an alternative.

This is in reference to Goa hotel booking: <> I made on 06th
Jan12 via travel guru web site. I paid full amount and received the above
confirmation over mail.
Now after 12 days after I received the above confirmation, I get a call from
travel guru informing me that this booking will not be available and I
should choose another alternative.
1) The Hotel guys are saying that they never received my booking
request in the first place? So why did travel guru sent me a confirmation
and took 12 days to inform me?
2) Is this how you do business? This is totally unprofessional on your
part and to top it all I dont receive a reasonable explanation as to why
this happened. Your customtakeouter care executives are only saying "Choose an
alternative" and nobody is ready to answer logical queries and none of
seniors are available over the call.
3) I simply dont understand one thing, If this was not available, why
did travel guru sent me a confirmation and secondly does it take 12 days to
figure out that room is not available?
I have already asked your customtakeouter care executives to arrange a callback.
I hope somebody with logical answers call me up.
