I did booking on 14th dec 2012 and cancelled on 14th Dec. I got confirmation email also that money will be refunded within 4-5 working days. Yesterday night when I checked, money was not credited.
When I called customer care, they had no clue of cancellation through my booking id.
After holding for 5 minutes, being transferred to 2 departments, they gave me some funny reason that money bounced back while trying the refund to credit card. They again need 4-5 working days to credit the amount. So
1) Their system is not automated, no clue of cancellation through your booking id.
2) You are responsible to get your money back, why would they care.
I do online reservation on faith and based on policy.
So Ill stay away from them in future.
