Currently I am in US and I was trying to get a travel package for Leh Laddakh and looking for grand dragon hotel(Deluxe hotels)....to Which travelguru reps said was available. But when I was about to make payments, they said this hotel is all booked. While the representatives talk nicely, they actually take an entire day to confirm availability and package price. I was able to call the hotels myself and confirm the availability within 10-15 minutes. But waited for travelguru in order to get complete package’s price and confirmation from their side.
After all these days lost as a second option I was provided a package with sub-standard hotel options and camps while charging more than first-class hotel options. Note that all prices are given on travelguru website which they say are good from April to September which are:
Standard Hotels with Ethnic camps: 19, 515
First Class Hotels with Deluxe camps: 22, 175
I was being asked to pay 24, 629 for hotel/options which clearly belongs to ’Standard’ option instead of first-class/luxury.
I am already loosing my patience and money while trying to do the booking only. I am going to start looking elsewhere if they couldn’t provide a fair option within 1-2 days. Representative contacted Sakshi/Sunny from travelguru.
