I had booked a hotel in Chail called Grand Sunset through them for a family holiday. However on the day we were about to leave they called up and said that our booking could not be confirmed. Hence they suggested us to confirm our booking with another Hotel called Hotel Lions. Since we were leaving in half an hour’s time, we had no choice but to say yes.
When we reached the hotel after an 12 hour journey, what welcomed us was a construction site and not a hotel. The Hotel was under renovation, with no electricity and restaurant. My elderly parents were tired, but the rooms were not prepared.
I called up the Customer service of Travel Guru and spoke to their representatives namely Prashant and Kanika thrice. All that they did was they put me on hold for 15 minutes and disconnected my call. One can imagine my trauma at that time. I called up again and asked to speak to their manger/supervisor, however my call was again disconnected saying that they have yet not reported to office.
I had planned this vacation for my parents and was absolutely distressed with what we got in the deal.
I am an avid traveler and this is the first time I booked through travel guru. All that I can say that I have been cheated of my money. They are a bunch of fraudsters.
Please do not book through them.
