Last night, I travelled by Train number 12662 - Pothigai Expresss. I ordered dinner for my family of 8(including 2 kids+ my senior citizen parents.) to be delivered at Madurai Junction. The train stopped there for about 10 minutes. I got a message, 15 minutes prior to the arrival, that it was ready, and asked me to wait in my seat. I called up the customer care as soon as it was more than 2 minutes of stoppage in the station, as the person never arrived. The customer care Rep said, there is a huge rush, and so the person has boarded the train, and will deliver the food in sometime, and will definitely come. However, the nobody came even after the train started. I again called the customer care - again the same response, that the person has boarded, and will definitely give me food. It was almost 20 minutes after the train departed Madurai, nobody came with my food. I immediately called up the customer care. Mr. Manmohan said he will check with the vendor and get back to me in 5 minutes. However, nobody called up. I again called them at around 21.45, almost 30 minutes after the train departed Madurai Junction. The same person - Mr. Manmohan said the "The vendor is not responding, and they cannot provide my food, and asked me arrange food from elsewhere, and they cannot do anything else." I got wild and I blasted them. It was almost 10 PM at night. I had several vendors in Madurai and before, and virtually nobody after Madurai, and it was 10 PM. Had they informed me earlier, I would have ordered earlier, but thanks to them, my entire family had to starve that night. Further, I had 8 people in my family, including 2 kids and parents. Finally at around 10.30PM @ Dindigul, I had to scavenge some horrible 5 rotis, which was hardly edible, and we had to literally starve the entire night. The biggest irony was - Travel KhAnasultan did not even apologise for this, and their standard response was - "PLEASE ARRANGE FROM ANOTHER PLACE." I DON’T UNDERSTAND - HOW COULD I ORDER THAT AT 10 PM IN THE NIGHT, AND FOR MY ENTIRE FAMILY OF 8.". Horrible caterer. Never order with TravelKhAnasultan. My entire family had to starve yesterday night, thanks to them.
