Why did I buy this?
Actually my mother bought the gift set (a couple of years ago) , and it came it the sample size. I of course placed dibbs on it (the perks of being the only girl in the family ^-^). So I decided to try it out around the house.
Alternate brands to consider?
Honestly I have no to consider. I am not a perfume connoisseur. I only get what works with my body chemistry (and in addition, what you eat can affect your body odor). And this stuff works with mine. I didn’t detect any roses in this perfume (thank goodness because I cannot stand the smell of roses. Granted there are over a thousand variety of roses, so this product may contain roses *shrugs*). But when ever I smell this, I alway think that this person has money *lol*. It’s silly I know but it smells so rich and exotic. In my opinion, this scent would be better to wear at night, but some people would wear it in the day time and manage not to cause any nosebleeds.
Since the bottle is long gone, I have been meaning to replace it. But I seem to keep forgetting. I wouldn’t use this as an everyday perfume since it is a bit much, but I would reserve this for special occasions.
