Used car purchased from promise (Trident Hyundai)

I have been a prompt Hyundai customer till now(2007 – Santro & 2011 – i20 & now Verna). I had purchased Verna SX(O) AT from Promise approved used car/John on May 7th 2015(full cash made to Trident Automobiles Pvt Ltd). This is to let you know the interaction which I had with Ravindra Babu during the sales & transfer cycle. The complete process took close to 2 months.

After multiple emails & phone calls finally I had got my transferred smart card yesterday(6th July 2015).  There were no response to my emails & phone calls(most of the time I have been told that he is in meeting). During the initial discussion it was committed to provide loan clearance certificate & Bank NOC(after loan clearance), now he is saying they don’t have the copy. Next day I had been to Insurance Company to get insurance transferred. Since the transfer date was more than 15days, they wanted to do a physical car inspection before transfer(I had to bare the inspection charges). I have been driving this car for more than 2 months keeping my life & vehicle at RISK.

We go to authorized showroom assuming Hyundai is having a brand & they will make our life easy. Even after paying commission if they are take 2 months to get the vehicle transferred & now I need to chase insurance company get it transferred. they are playing with consumers life & no commitments were fulfilled. I spoke to Ravindra & asked him for his manager contact details, he says there is no manager above him(I don’t think that’s true, I wrote email to managers from hyundai address).  People like Ravindra are putting your brand name at RISK. I don’t think I will never be interested in doing business with Hyundai again(nor my friends).

Issues:-

•   Loan clearance document was not provided(Bank NOC)

•   Clearance certificate from K.R puram RTO was not provided( CC)

•   It was commited to clear in 15-20 day’s time(it took 2 months)

•   Emails & Phone calls were not responded

•   No insurance coverage during last 2 months

•   Payed additional fee(inspection charge to insurance company)
