Disgusting, is what I would say. I booked a Beat with Trident Automobiles in Bangalore, 2 days after their soft launch in Delhi Auto expo. The Cheque was given on 9th January 2010 and clear in next day. delivery was promised on 1/22 that is before 26th January.
I have sold my car last month assuming the delivery be on time. Now its 45 days and counting, NO NEWS.. The dealer never calls me, its me following up all the time AND even now no assurance given (always some excuse around production issues, color not available, on the way. Dispatched but not arrived, terrorist attack in Pune).The GM and Chevy Brand is taking a beating again with this beat. And ironically, I am expending daily 500rs to commute now that I don’t have a car. Leave alone the trauma of not getting car delivered for husband as his Birthday gift.
I don’t even know whom to escalate this to. GM or Chevy do not have any pre-sales support, is anyone from GM listening and more importantly do these guys care?
