Well wer r not regular travelers and neither know people who tell us about their trip. Well becoz today’s world has become a selfish world where the others dont share views openly and closely with you.
BUT not all are same. Tripadvisor.in is an American based website founded in 2000, which actually solves this problem!
I means there r lots of people who visit different places and they come here and they write their views here.
So first, it was me back in 2010, wen the first decided to go and stay in Pondicherry(i have visited pondi many times before but never stayed). So, I did not know which would be better hotel to stay. I but I knew that since pondi is right next to sea, there will definetly be Sea view hotels. so I went to Tripadvisor and started searching and finally found a Bay view hotel which also had a lots customer reviews right below it! so, I started reading it one by one and since many of the reviews and rating wer all good, I finally called them up and booked up for a bay view room and say wat, "It was awesome". I have stayed in that for 2 times after that and I enjoyed the place!
Then it was ooty in 2012. Well thou I have already visit ooty twice before but that was thru college tour and office. So they booked the hotels and transport. But this was the first time when we decided to go ourselves in our Sedan from Chennai. So we didt know the things like best route, best hotel, the rates, best restaurants and best locations to visit.
So again to all these I first visited the Tripadvisor hotel review center and got info about the best hotel along with the rates and availability.
Then I went to "forum and posted a new question" related to the trip. And just with 24hrs I got lots of real useful replies from the experts.
So, I took all these in mind and set for the trip and again it was extremely wonderful. I enjoyed ooty more than the previous 2 trips.
Recently I visited Kumbakonam with the help of Tripadvisor’s Reviews and Forum. The Trip was nice.
So here I go for the Pros and cons -
Why Tripadvisor -
1) The best place to know about ur trip including hotels, Rates, Locations, Routes, etc.
2) One the good updated platforms for knowing the latest prices of the hotels.
3) Detailed information about a place, hotel, restaurants and cities.
4) Genuine reviews and no bias.
5) Tripadvisor Forums are great place to know further details personally.
6) Fastest Response on Reviews and Forums posts.
Wat Tripadvisor Lacks -
1) the map location of the restaurant. Well we can know about the hotels but not wer its located. an included map could have been better.
2) Some answers are not answers in Forum. May be due to lack of experts.
3) the Hotel prices are not the exact. I varies.
Overall, I love Tripadvisor and its Reviews and forums. Truly a genuine place to know about ur trip.
