I would like to provide a really unbiased personal experience on this trip factory designed visit for Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Who ever wants to use trip factory can really take this as the guide and choose or not choose trip factory for their vacation. I will try to cover every aspect and give my honest feedback.
Starting with Hotels, they are pretty transparent and try to choose what ever is available at the best cost. But overall Dubai hotels are 1 star less than what they advertise. so if you are taking a 4 star then its mostly 3 or max 3.5.
Coming to the planning of the available days of vacation is not that great. I felt that the advisor had no clue of the exact details and also do not understand the region or where abouts very well. So I would suggest you to do a good home work before you accept a proposed plan.
Planning of the onsite team is Awful and they have no proper coordination except for the airport pickup which is excellent and managed very well.
For the days of the vacation on visits to the places, I would rate them 1 or even a 0. The advisor does not give all the options available and assumes you are a budget traveler. For example, I went to Burj Khalifa in Dubai where there are options to go to 154th floor which is a bit on the higher side of the cost but she assumed and gave me the 124th floor which is a complete waste of time as you dont get any feel of where you are. This is the same with every location.
Worst part is that if you 4 days they plan and split the same location into 2 different days with out any sense of logistics. For example I went to Palm Monorail on one day and the palm sky deck on other day. so I wasted travelling 2 hours up and down which I would have utilized for something else.
Abudhabi trip was a disaster, in a group trip they mix the guys who have a ferrari world ticket with who does not and so you end up waiting in the mall for 4 hours. The guide is another waste of time. He speaks of things that are non relevant and skips the main, also he does not have any sense responsibility for the people. After the mosque visit, We were asked to remain hungry till he dropped us back at the hotel in the night.
If I have to speak of the positives, which are very less, are the desert safari and the Dhow Cruise.
BTW, the vehicles they provided were really good.
Finally I felt that I personally would have planned my days much better than what they did for which I paid. The trip factory should really do some introspection and review their advisors and their onsite coordinators for their skills and customer service which I rate a 1 at this stage.
