This trek is of somewhat 8 to 9 km one side from Bhagshunag and you can drive also to Dharmkot and start trek from there. Bhagshunag is two km from Mcleodganj and Dharmkot is 3 or 4. Trek is approachable from both places. There is a scenic view in the whole trek and as soon as you reach Triund you just forget about your fatigue when you see mesmerizing Dhauladahr ranges.

One must pre-book tents from Mcleodganj or any other place where you feel like. You can carry your tents too as its an easy trek and trail is very simple. There is a forest guest house too which could be booked if you know any official. Guest house could be provided by the watchman if it’s empty or if they are no booking.
May and June are peak season month and very overcrowded so plan to go offseason. It is a beautiful place and heaven for those who are not used to mountains as we Himachali do.
