General review about Troy- - - >When I had first read about Achilles I just thought of him as another of those greek figures. But the movie Troy really made me imagine him. This movie depicts Achilles in a true sense.
One will definitely wonder or rather want to imagine about the presence of a man who is born to fight. Stories state that Achilles stayed with the giants of his time. Watch this movie, and while watching keep in mind that you are watching a greek mythological hero, then you would definitely agree with what the stories suggest about him.
Infact there is also another aspect that I got to see. Being a computer engineer I had always studied about the Trojan Horse virus, Trojan Horse attack, but could never really imagine it. Troy gives atleast some visualisation of that aspect.
Analysis of the movie - - - >The movie has been shot quite well. Brad pitt has done a wonderful job of acting out Achilles.Ruthlessness of Achilles has been depicted quite well. The sets have also been constructed quite well and the movie gives a very nice view of how a thousand battleships in the sea will look like. One cannot help but notice the foolishness of the people of Troy. Like the Indian cricket team they manage to lose a war that they had already won.
On the whole- - - > A very nice, must watch movie.Will keep you glued to the seats. The love story is also kept short and there are a few comedy scenes.
