Today I am sharing my views on very popular mobile application Truecaller.
This application is used to identify the number which we dont saved in our phone or unknown persons. But does we know how its work? First of all when we installed it its ask us several access permissions like access your contacts, files and media. Its means that its shrinks you contacts in its own server and store for others users. But does it works properly? No is the answer if you saved your name as Narendra Modi as your number and if you call someone its shows him Narendra Modi calling so funny.
In term of used it is easy but also its asked you to call from their dialer not from your phone dialer which really irritates.
Installation is normal as any other software but its asked many access which is a threat to your privacy.
Feature wise as I said if you saved your own number with a false name its show you wrong information. So it does not work 100% accurate.
Finally I must suggest never used it if you don’t want to share your privacy. As many said it block fraud and others undesired number so friends in your phone it is already option to do the same so no need of a third party apps.
