We had a deeply disappointing experience with this interior design firm. On our very first meeting, the designer didn’t take our inputs seriously. The quotation we received seemed lower than others, so we paid a 10% advance(₹52, 000) based on that. However, the quote lacked several details we had clearly shared.
They used the same laminate colors for everything, and when questioned, they confidently said everything was covered within budget with just a 5–10% variation. Later, we found out each laminate comes with different pricing and timelines, which they conveniently didn’t explain upfront — even though it was buried in the quotation. That quotation was sent only as a payment link, not as a proper document for review.
They also promised a 7.5% EMI interest, which turned out to be false. Now they’ve increased the quotation and are pushing a 9.5% EMI, saying the company doesn’t “profit” from 7.5%. I even have a call recording where their co-founder admits this.
Due to false verbal promises, lack of documentation, and poor communication, we completely lost trust. They refused to refund the amount, saying “too much time and effort” was spent — when in reality, only a basic 2D design was done, worth around ₹10–15k in Bangalore.
We’ve lost over 1.5 months dealing with this, and had to move into our new home with zero interior work done, causing major stress. We don’t have call recordings of every interaction, but we do have a written quote clearly stating the 7.5% EMI, which they are now denying.
The Co founder disowns the commitments made by his own team. They may try to cover this up or shift blame, but truth remains truth.
This happened to us in September 2024, and it took us almost six months to regain our peace of mind, which is why we’re posting this review now — so others don’t suffer like we did.
