I would like to share my recent experience with Truww, whom I initially considered for the interior design of my new flat in Bangalore.
During my visit to their Hosa Road experience center, I was impressed enough by their sugar quoted talk and warm welcome to make a spot booking and pay a 10% advance. They assured me that the quoted amount would not increase beyond 5% unless I requested additional changes. However, as the project progressed, I noticed a significant increase in costs at every phase,
I have observed several areas—such as lighting, internal fittings/ledges/shelves, and unit dimensions—that have been intentionally left open, potentially allowing for pricing hike in future phases of the project. This tactic could be perceived as a business strategy that customers may not readily recognize.
I did agree to some minor design changes and understood there would be an additional cost. Yet, to my dismay, the overall quotation surged by 40% compared to our initial agreement. Furthermore, their senior designer mentioned that price hikes could also occur during the project execution, which made me realize I was in a precarious situation. Additionally, I didn’t find any innovative ideas that could truly enhance the beauty of the space.
Ultimately, I opted to withdraw from the project, but Truww forfeited my entire advance payment without any justification.
I urge you all to be cautious when engaging with Truww and consider other options for your interior design needs.
