If u ask in one word review of tubelight I would say Underwellming.i went in with great expectations after all kabir khan is the director who convert the cult of salman khan by movie like ek tha tiger and bajrangee bhaijan was at high points in the narrative mythical superstar whose persona is so large that it cannablic flims but in bajrangee bhaijan kabir used that initiating with good story and salman was pitched mid upright man child who teaches in humanity is stand above all religions borders and politics.Tubelight real name is laxman singh bisht he is malicious called tubelight because he is slow to catch on.This flim is based in small town near china border in 1962 the indo-china war has irrupted and all able body naina ask to enlish in the army the laxman brother sohail khan as bharat singh bisht to go to border for war. this movie movie evolved around what laxman must do to bring his brother back alive.Tubelight is based on 2015American movie Little Boy there is a protagonist physically small boy father send to world war 2 he taken up himself to find the faith and bring him back teaching Bible here it is gandhiji thoughts.kabir replaced the child with child like man this is the wickest link both salman and sohail as laxman and bharat are miscast at one point of the character look like bharat says ab ye kya kar raha hai ye ladkabut this are not ladka but middle age man trying to create a illusion young ends who leaves in small town but seems state out of the fairy tale.everyone is friendly unfailingly nice. yes tubelight is bully for its slowness even though that has little sting. Mohd zeeshan ayub as Narayan as local rowdy who beats laxman on few occasions.Mostly this movie feels like Disneyland with a town hall and a village square where everyone gather to dance and watch movies the texture of movie is excellent with gorgeous location is expertly captured by cinmetography aseem mishra even though war scenes are well stock beauty. u can see the sweat and the sincerity on the screen specially on salman khan performance here is shuts the superstar mental he weaks on abundantly.he gets hit he plays village idiot who can’t even remember zip her up it is an admireable attempt but it doesn’t land.in the more demanding scene meet on and expression fault he looks a confused very quickly.laxman purity becomes cloyingly overly sentimental.salman is also saddled with the character without a graph when a character evolved u need a plot to move but here grinds on pondours space. specially on the 2nd half.The highlight of the flimchild actor gu won the scene togather are the best in the flim. the Chinese actor zhu zhu looks good but with a lesser impact the opportunity to comment on rassist is surrounded.instead this scene exchange with her character le ling and laxman basically tubelight is cinema as serment which makes the flim flat and emotionally unconvinced. to good intentions and yakeen dont perfectly grapping narrative however I enjoy the late ompuri on screen and preetam radio song is still play my head and the scene made me wanted immediately escape to hills but this could be done better.for me movie is overexpected before realease but it is not up to mark but as it has stardom like salman pepole may like the movie.
