The film Tubelight is directed by Kabir Khan. It stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Matin, Om Puri.
The film revolves around a man named Lakshman( Salman Khan) who is a little slow in understanding things. His brain processes things slow and that is why everybody makes fun of him except his younger brother Bharat( Sohail Khan) .
Bharat joins the army because Lakshman is unfit to do any kind of job to earn bread. During the 1962 India-China war, the chinese army take bharat and a few of his fellow army men as hostages.
The passion and trust that Lakshman holds in his heart is put to test. The test is whether his brother will come back from the war or not.
The casting for the movie was good and they had a great director but still failed to deliver a good movie. The movie lacks good acting, a good plot and the appeal to watch it again.
It is an emotional roller coaster. The parts played by all the character were okay but the kid Matin was good, he brought a fun and cute element in the movie. Only the songs are good, apart from the kid and the songs there is no reason to watch this movie.
I must say the movie is disappointing. The plot was so poorly developed and even after having the rights for the movie Little Boy, Tubelight turned out to be a flop blockbuster.
