The movie tubelight professes the fact that "faith is the ultimate power’ and one can do the unimaginable even when the whole world doesn’t believe in your belief’s.
The story is sincere and depicts a very true and innocent bond of love and affection between two brothers; Sohail Khan and Salman Khan(Tubelight) in the small town of Jagatpur. After growing up, Sohail joins the Indian Army during the Indo-China war period and how Salman has incredible faith of Sohail’s return home.
Funny comic moments with the child artist Martin Rey called Zhu Zhu in the movie are cute and original. In some scenes, accepting Salman as a coy, boyish and naive kid is difficult to digest. Om Puri and Zeeshan Ayub play a supporting cast role. Appearance of a magician by Shah Rukh is also unexpected and doesn’t add much charm. The story looks too stretched and is not gripping enough despite of Salman trying is best.
Sajan Radio is the only song that catches attention, music isn’t that great either. There is something terribly missing in this movie.
