Emotions be kitne stupid hote hai.... Well this is one movie which really lives up to its lines...TUM BIN is a well very confusing yet in some ways a very convincing movie.
Well the story begins in mumbai shekhar(priyanshu) is a crorepati but as usual denewale ne jab diya to ek darwaza band karke doosra khol diya.... He is am orphan who is pining for a family.he at a party meets a NRI Amar (cutie pie rakesh) who is in India to buy his well shaadi ka joda. Well some extravagance that is.anyways the two hit it off and then accidentally rakesh is killed and guess who is the culprit, yup no prizes for guessing right MR.shekar.well then to undo his paap he decides to go to Canada to set right things.there he meets the petite Piya (sandali) who is the dead mans fiancee.without revealing his identity, he works hard without a salary(?????) to set rakeshs slowly declining business empire now run by Piya.the reward well he has a few song and dance sequences with MISS.piya.then enter multi billionaire abhigyan(hymanshu)who agrees to finance the business just considering one criteria , guess what????yes piya herself..and shekar in his ever-sacrificial spirit decides to leave for home after refusing piyas proposal and within minutes piya well is engaged to abhi. Marriages seem to be made in minutes here.well then Mr. shekar changes his mind runs back only to encounter well ever so (???)Faithful police force (imagine them flying up to Canada to catch culprit unless of course they are promised a holiday there as a reward). Well a new drama unfolds and finally the police give up due to his goodness and then shekar ends up in front of a speeding truck and after after a few hospital scenes all well....
Well tum bin has a very weak story line, mediocre music but a good performance by the newcomers seems to lift the movie a little.priyanshu is very very convincing as the guilty culprit and then the silent lover. Sandali is ok using her expressive eyes to her advantage others just help the storys tide.on the whole well tum binke bina rah sakenge.
